Catherine

Catherine Wendt brings her unique background and 35+ years of business experience to the Construction Industry, including clients, industry associations, publications, and our team members. Today, she is a trusted advisor for businesses across the country, the active owner and President of Syscon, and an active musician.

In addition to her consulting responsibilities, Catherine stepped into the role of President at Syscon in 2013 after heading up the Network Department for five years. As with many family businesses, she’s held various roles at Syscon including Controller, Sales and Marketing, and Project Management. Under her leadership, Syscon has expanded its Consulting, IT Support, and Cloud Hosting services to the Construction industry, introducing the company’s first App focused on Field Time collection.

Growing up as the oldest of 11 children, raising four children, married to Larry since 1984, and having worked with construction companies of many sizes, locations, and trades has allowed Catherine to support clients during their business journey. Her weekly video blogs with helpful tips on tech-related items, as well as published articles and blog posts have provided many opportunities to educate our clients and our industry. The IT industry, including software, changes quickly, so attending industry events and staying current with the technology, then passing that along for the success of our clients is a primary goal in Catherine’s role at Syscon.
