What we’re looking for in our Chief Financial Officer

  • 5+ years of Controller or Vice President of Finance level experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Strong background in financial analytics and experience using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Demonstrated ability to build financial capabilities.
  • Proficiency with and knowledge of all pertinent accounting rules and regulations, including GAAP.
  • Proven experience in improving internal processes and procedures.
  • Accounting software proficiency (beyond QuickBooks); proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to work onsite near our Scottsdale office. (Hybrid is possible in the future but not at the start).

As the individual responsible for the financial transactions in the company and leading a team of direct reports, your role will be critical in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our organization. In addition, your responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and evaluate the organization’s fiscal function and performance.
  • Manage company finances and guide how the company manages growth, revenue, and expenses and to achieve its goals.
  • Compiling financial reporting, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, coordinate audits and timely filing of tax returns.

Skills for this Position

  • Proficient in providing Remote Support using LogMeIn Rescue, N-Able Take Control, or similar, and Remote Desktop

  • Minimum four (4) years workstation/laptop and printer troubleshooting in MS environments

Level IV Systems Engineer

As part of the network team, maintain the health of our Hosting infrastructure including ESXi hosts, Datto units, Sonicwall HA firewalls and switches, and the MSAs. Assist with routine maintenance of hosted servers. Monitor hosting infrastructure and client endpoints through our N-Central RMM tool. Monitor endpoint and M365 backups through Solarwinds. Onboard and maintain M365 accounts, architect and move client shares to SharePoint, and provide support as needed. Remote IT support for clients all over the US including some on prem clients’ servers. Periodic onsite client visits in the greater Chicago area including maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Assist the Sales team for existing and new clients to provide network discovery/assessments and make recommendations. Using our ticketing software, update and maintain assigned tickets. Migration and support of Azure Private and Shared tenants. Weekly meetings with the Network team and Daily Stand Ups. Keep our customers informed as we do our work.

  • 6+ years of experience as a Level IV Tech troubleshooting and maintaining MS Windows platforms
  • Install, troubleshoot, maintain Microsoft Windows Server (2012 R2 through 2019) in production environment including Microsoft SQL
  • Install, troubleshoot, maintain Hosted Microsoft Exchange Server and assist in decommissioning
  • VMware experience including ESXi hosts, creating new servers, use of VMware tools such as V-Center, V-Sphere, etc.; ability to troubleshoot and maintain environment; managing MSA’s and hosted drive space
  • Datto BDR servers – monitor, troubleshoot, implement
  • Firewall configurations, VPN tunnels, Sonicwall a plus
  • Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues
  • Troubleshoot Wireless Connectivity, public/private wi-fi networks, HP Aruba a plus

  • Experience and knowledge of various accounting structures including Departmental Income setup, Subaccounts, Summary accounts, Union setup within the software, Payroll Reporting, Progress Billing, and Project Management module
  • Experience with Sage 100 Contractor Report Writer and report form modifications
  • Works well under tight deadlines and able to multi-task effectively
