Sage 100 C Version 19.5.27 Upgrade and Tax Tables

Sage 100 C 2015 Tax Tables – it’s here!!

Sage has released the 2015 Federal Tax updates in version 19.5, which includes various State Tax updates. Sage indicates they are not expecting any other State updates, so it’s time to upgrade to the most recent Sage 100 Contractor release, version 19.5.27.

  • For our

    Private Hosting clients

    who have Sage 100 Contractor, please call our office to schedule this upgrade in the near future (see guidelines below). This is for the server only. The tech will
    not
    re-index the datasets since this requires your Sage 100 Contractor Supervisor password.
  • For clients who have their

    own server at their office

    , please give us a call to schedule an onsite visit to install this update (see guidelines below). This includes the server and all workstations with the product installed on them. The number of workstations will dictate how long the process will take.
  • Syscon clients who participate in our

    Shared Hosting Environment for Sage 100 Contractor

    , the upgrade has been performed and you are on the most recent tax table release! Please be sure you log in as Supervisor with Exclusive Access and update all companies and archive datasets.

Just like previous upgrades, during the process all the users are out of the program, the server is upgraded with the latest version of the software, then you log back in as Supervisor and upgrade all data sets through the re-index (7- 5) process. During the upgrade,
the software will not be available
. We expect the server portion of the work to take an hour, after which you can log back in and re-index the datasets, logged on as Supervisor with Exclusive Access.

Hint
: Do the current dataset first, release Exclusive Access, so everyone can get back in. Open a second session and log into an archive dataset, then use that second session, as Supervisor with Exclusive Access, to work through the rest of the archive/company datasets and still keep the whole office working!
