Migrating Sage 100 Contractor Archive Data to version 20

We’ve migrated dozens and dozens of datasets in the last 12 months, moving them from version 19 to version 20. There are a LOT of steps.

For those of you who have been on the program for more than 3 or 4 years, we’ve found several road blocks; things like fields that didn’t exist in older versions but are required in newer versions. Steps need to be taken in the v19 dataset prior to the migration or it will fail.

Through a lot of trial and error, we’ve create a pretty exhaustive checklist. In early January, after everyone is officially moved to version 20 for their current year, we’ll hold a webinar to walk through the checklist, and give you the list at the end of the webinar. Then you can use the checklist to migrate your prior year archives to version 20, or we are available to do this for you. Please watch for the day and time so you can sign up for this January event.
