The Cost to Complete reports in Sage are pretty good, but some clients need more flexibility, have multiple PM’s who need to provide input, and/or additional parameters to consider. Our program pulls detailed cost and labor hours data straight from Sage 100 Contractor into an Excel workbook. Each PM can view all of their jobs in detail and enter adjustments based on their knowledge of the status of their jobs. The data is then submitted to a company wide database that can aggregates all jobs. Add in the Power BI Dashboard to analyze and visualize the cost to complete results across all PMs and you have a powerful tool that will get the owners and PMs in a lively discussion, allowing you to call out at-risk jobs, celebrate the wins, and minimize ‘surprises.’
