Master Builder Solutions from England; Be Careful!

Earlier this week, one of our clients reported an odd call – the caller ID number comes up as their own phone number, and the people on the other end have a British accent. They say they’re calling on behalf of Master Builder Solutions with a survey and want to talk to whoever is in charge of equipment. When Amy asked for a call back number, they gave an 888 number explaining they were from England.

Sage 100 Contractor (formerly Master Builder) will always refer to the Sage name and their headquarters are
not
in England. The other red flag is that they asked about equipment, but Master Builder is a software solution.

We have brought this incident to the attention of Sage. In the meantime, these calls are not coming from Sage or any Business Partner associated with Sage – please use caution. We recommend that you do NOT provide any information and simply end the call.
