Rest Day!

 

Really needed the rest day today. The location, Dauphine Island, is great. It has a long beach front on the Gulf.

I walked the beach for a while with Tom and Yvonne, and then just sat on a log and enjoyed it for a while.

There was also a local Estuarium that we visited for an hour or so.  Dauphine Island is the focal point for the water shed for most of Alabama and parts of the surrounding states. It is a very complex eco environment and the Estuarium is essentially like an Aquarium dedicated to the Estuary at Dauphine Island.  

The remainder of the day was reserved for much needed rest.
