A lot of desert …
A picture is worth 1,000 words in this case. This is a typical stretch of road along today’s ride from Calexico, CA to Yuma, AZ. Just a lot of flat miles in the desert.
Target – Yuma, AZ! We still had to ride another 7 miles to get to the location where we stayed for the night.
Sometimes, if we can’t find a campground or hotel that can accommodate us, we will stay in a community center, school, or similar. In these cases, it is one giant pajama party with the entire group staying in one room.
