I suspect this is going to be an adventure of the unexpected, and today did not disappoint. One size does NOT fit all! In the pre-ride process today, all riders were issued a safety vest that must be worn 100% of the time when riding. Understandable. But, the vests provided were “one-size-fits-all” and of course, out of 21 riders that day, I was the only one the vest did not fit. And not by just a little.
That is when the crazy lady with the scissors (really a wonderful staff member – Audrey) went to work on my vest. She made strategic cuts in under the arms and through the back so I can now wear the vest. (Although it looks a bit funny!)
I’m ready for the first day of riding tomorrow!
