What is Acumatica for Construction?
Acumatica is an ERP. This basically means one connected system that runs the money side of your company — accounting, job costing, payroll, billing, project management — all talking to each other instead of living in separate spreadsheets and disconnected programs.
The “for Construction” part matters. It speaks your language out of the box: cost codes, change orders, AIA billing, retainage, WIP, certified payroll. The things your office actually deals with every day.
Because it’s cloud-based, your team can get to it from the office, the job trailer, or the truck — same numbers, same place, no server humming in a back closet.

How long does an Acumatica Construction Edition implementation typically take?
Every contractor’s timeline depends on entity count, payroll complexity, and workflow scope, which we map out during Phase 01 Discovery before anyone commits to licensing. Most mid-sized construction implementations run across structured phases covering discovery, data migration, construction workflow setup, plain-English role training, and parallel validation.
